Educational Effectiveness
Chapman Seminary is committed to developing the spiritual, moral, and intellectual maturity necessary for effective leadership in the Church. The school has developed a variety of tools, both quantitative and qualitative, to assess the extent to which students are achieving the outcomes of the degrees they are pursuing. The faculty regularly reviews this assessment data to measure the effectiveness of Chapman’s programs and for planning further improvements. Chapman Seminary provides ample support to ensure student success.
A recent survey of placement data offers encouraging evidence of the integrity of Chapman Seminary’s degree programs:
Master of Divinity & Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care
- 75% of graduates over the last twelve years (2007-2018) were involved in some kind of vocational ministry within the first year after their graduation
- 65% of graduates from the last twelve years (2007-2018) are currently involved in vocational ministry
